So i know that there are some pretty cool clubs and sports and crap out there... but i wonder if anything beats band..

Pa Ha. of course they all do to the people in sports or other stuff... but i really think that if you're in band you know that it's the best thing ever. i mean there's stuff like air and food that are nice, but i dunno. all of my friends except for like two are in band. i guess that i could go on with a really cheesy band speech.. but i dont really want to. anyway

So band this last week has gone by fast. drill week next week. woo hoo. it should really give us a good boost, but i'm terrified of the game in a week. it's central memorial and i'm afraid i'll mess up or something. ok. just wont think about it.. yeah. that'll work.

Well kiddos, i really dont have anything exciting to write about band. i'll try to write in here more, but who knows. later gaters.

Parent peview... yeah. it went bettter than i expected. haha i messed up the doctor. my dad taped the whole thing and i really liked the way we played (standing still a lot more than marching, but it was all good). i need to be a little smaller in my conducting. anyone have any pointers? i'm definitely open to anything to make me look more "fine" (thanks, liz).

So band camp is finally over. i will miss it. it wasn't that boring after all. well kiddos, can't wait to see you all monday. bright and early six p.m..... cool beans. later gaters.

Hey fellow band geeks. so band camp has been going anything but smoothly these past four days. i'm sure that everyone is aware of several areas of stress that have been imposed on us all lately (cough... naomi... cough). all i can do is hope for the best. yup, that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

Parent preview tomorrow... should i be stoked or terrified? I need to practice conducting... lots and lots of practice, yeah. i'm gonna head out. later gaters.

Band is great, isn't it? today was a bitch, but at the end, everything was really ok. laura brought me lunch. i had the best time laughing at all of the stupid freshmen and sophomores acting up. laura gave a good pah-ha or two. i'm gonna miss her so much, but that's another story.

So i'm stoked for this year. i have a really good feeling about everything and everyone. the opener's drill is a little wack, but the music is hella tight. i wonder if we'll play the whole show parent preview... i doubt it though.

Yesterday after band i went tubing... it felt soo good. i think i might just do that now. well guys, i'm gonna head. later gaters.

What can i say... i love band. it is so great. the people are so awesome. i'd never trade those sweaty rehearsals for anything in the world. i love all of my friends. i'm just in aw sometimes when i sit back and realize that i'm at hacienda debating band with my some of my closest friends. it just makes my heart... smile, ya know? ahh, it's so great.
